How they met: Zach and Jenna met as lifeguards on the Wildwood Crest Beach Patrol. They had their first date at the Lifeguard Ball later that summer. In the fall, Zach went back to Penn State to finish his senior year while Jenna also went to Penn State to begin her college career.
The proposal: Zach proposed on their ninth anniversary under the full moon on the Fort Lauderdale beach. Jenna was so excited to spend the rest of her life with her very best friend.
The planning: “We have had some of the best times of our lives in the Wildwoods, so when it came time to plan our wedding, Cape May County was a no brainer,” Jenna says. They planned a wedding that was perfect for the ultimate beach bums, which they are. Jenna handmade almost everything for the wedding. She made the necklaces for the bridesmaids, the boutonnieres, the centerpieces and more.
The wedding: Jenna and Zach tied the knot on May 17 on the beaches of Cape May.
Jenna’s favorite moment: The packed dance floor could easily sum up her favorite moment. It was amazing to see all of the people who have been a part of the many parts of the couple’s 10-year relationship laughing and dancing together. “It was truly the best day, surrounded by the best people we know,” Jenna says.
