Morgan and Vincent’s love story began over a mutual love of hockey, all with a little help from Morgan’s mother. Morgan’s mother worked with Vincent and felt that he would be a great match for her daughter. Little did Morgan know, her mother was right.

While in her senior year of college, Morgan worked with an online hockey outlet covering the Philadelphia Flyers. She traveled to Philadelphia a few times a week, always in Flyers attire, of course. When her mother finally introduced her to Vincent, he asked, “What happened to the Flyers when they played the New York Rangers in last year’s playoffs?” Yes… she fell in love with a Rangers fan.

So, naturally, Morgan and Vincent’s first date was a Flyers vs. Devils game. Morgan explains that the date was absolutely perfect, and from then on the couple’s love for each other grew strong.

Morgan had an idea a proposal was coming, but she didn’t expect it the day she graduated from college. The two had plans to go to a holiday event that night, but they decided to stay in due to the freezing cold weather. It was going to be a simple night of pizza and Christmas movies, so Morgan thought. She watched as Vincent went to his jacket, and she asked, “What are you doing?”

Vincent responded, “What are you going to do for the rest of your life?” Morgan explained to him that she was set – she already had a job, she had him and she had their two dogs. Then, he popped the questions. “How about this? Will you marry me?” Morgan, in shock, laughed and said yes!

Morgan and Vincent jumped right into wedding planning. They looked at 10 different venues, but fell in love with The Flanders Hotel right away due to its beautiful balance of both modern and vintage. It was the perfect fit since Morgan and Vincent both grew up by the beach, and the couple has a special place in their hearts for Ocean City. Once the venue was picked, everything else fell into place.

The big day went as smooth as could be, making all of the planning, stress and emotions worth it. Morgan looked stunning in her beaded Essence of Australia gown from TESI Bridal & Formal as she walked down the aisle. “Tesi made sure my dress was perfect for the big day,” says Morgan. Once she met Vincent at the altar, wearing a handsome tux also from TESI, the two exchanged vows, exited the church, and headed to the beach and boardwalk via Great American Trolley Company for photos with their bridal party. They then hopped back onto the trolley and departed for The Flanders to celebrate their love.
