Regina and Rose Marie were introduced through sports by a mutual friend. The couple has been together for 34 years, since July 21, 1981.

In the fall of 2014, Regina and Rose Marie decided they wanted to express their commitment and love for each other in front of their nieces and nephews.

Regina and Rose Marie have always dreamed of being married by the beach. They both love the beach and have made many memories there with their nieces and nephews during sunrises and sunsets. A friend of the couple scheduled an appointment at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City to get the planning process started. After Regina and Rose Marie met the Yacht Club’s wedding planner and toured the venue, they knew instantly they needed to be married there. Together with the wedding planner – who made every one of the couple’s requests come true – and their family and friends, they made decisions and planned their special day.

Their first wedding day was October 4, 2015, but unfortunately Hurricane Joaquin prevented it from happening. The couple did not want to put any of their loved ones at risk, so they rescheduled their wedding day to November 22, 2015. They were married at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City, where they enjoyed great tunes from DJ Frank and unbelievably tasty, unique food. It was a rainy day, but the rain brought a beautiful double rainbow and an amazing record-breaking sunset.

The most memorable part of Regina and Rose Marie’s special day was walking down the aisle with their parents while being applauded by their loved ones. Other memorable moments include father-daughter dances, the double rainbow and the most amazing red sunset.

The couple is now back to their day-to-day life, which they both love very much.
