Caitlin & Brett

Yacht Club of Sea Isle City

September 16, 2023

Caitlin and Brett’s love story began in Sea Isle City, where they both spent many sun-soaked childhood summers. Caitlin told Weddings by the Beach that Sea Isle is more than just a summer destination—it is a part of her identity, shaping her into the person she is today.

Their dream wedding became a reality at The Yacht Club of Sea Isle City. Nestled adjacent to the inter-coastal waterway, the Yacht Club offers a stunning backdrop of bay and sunset.

Caitlin McMahon, their wedding planner at the Yacht Club, made sure that every detail was taken care of, from the ceremony on the dock to the reception inside the main dining room. Even with the threat of inclement weather, Caitlin and Brett knew they were in good hands.

The ceremony itself was a beautiful affair, bathed in sunlight as Caitlin walked down the aisle towards Brett. With a trellis adorned by the talented florists at Blooms in Cape May Court House, and officiated by Caitlin’s Uncle Joe, the decorations matched the intensity of the couple’s love.

Following the ceremony, Caitlin and Brett retreated to the bridal suite provided by the Yacht Club, where they enjoyed delicious appetizers and a moment of reflection before joining their guests for the reception.

The main dining room of the Yacht Club was the perfect setting for a celebration, with a panoramic view of the bay and an elegant atmosphere. The Yacht Club is a high-class destination with a long waiting list, but couples can spend a day here even if they aren’t members.

Under the culinary expertise of Executive Chef Evan Schwartz and his team, their guests were treated to a unique and varied menu.

Entertainment was provided by LaCompt, a beloved shore band known for getting the party started. From their first dance to the last song of the night, Caitlin and Brett danced the night away surrounded by their loved ones.

Guests were treated to a delectable wedding cake and desserts from The Blue Dolphin in Marmora, while Green Room Catering provided breakfast and after-party appetizers. The couple also arranged for transportation with the Sea Isle City Jitney so guests could enjoy the festivities – and their drinks – without worry.

All of the little details at the Yacht Club of Sea Isle City – the colorful kayaks near the dock, the trellis overlooking the water, the funky carpet in the reception room, and the beautiful views of the bay at sunset – helped make their day one to remember.
